Original Painting of 'Banksia in Glass Flask Still Life Study'
This botanical artwork was inspired by a banksia branch gifted from a friend's garden. I had a lot of fun arranging these beautiful sculptural flowers in a glass flask/beaker (it was the only vase I had that would keep them upright!). I loved painting the beautiful textural leaves of the banksias and tried to capture their dancing gesture.
